Specialization in Speech-Language Pathology

I would like to specialize in pediatric Speech-Language Pathology and work with the Deaf. However, I am open to other areas of specialization, too, such as kids who have autism or ESL students.

Duties of SLPs who work with the Deaf:

  •  Develop ASL

    • This will pave the road to verbal communication

  • Develop written language

  • Develop functional communication
